This art piece won first place in techmeets art in 2015, a competition organised by Samsung and re.le. are gallery in Nigeria. Lagbaja is a Yoruba word that means "nobody in particular". Its also a stage name of a Nigerian Afrobeat musician, singer and songwriter in Nigeria. The idea behind the phone and the mask was themed around the competition organised by Samsung and re.le. which titled tech meets art (technology meets art).

Ariyo Olasunkanmi was born on July 1986, in Lagos Nigeria. He is a visual artist who tells stories and works predominantly with images. Olasunkanmi studied general arts in Yaba college of technology where he majored in graphic design to acquire a Higher National Diploma in 2011. Olasunkanmi also acquired an online professional certificate in Digital photography from Alison in 2015. Am currently working on some projects which among them will be exhibited later this year.
