"Transfigure" formed a part of the "Bending Light" exhibition held in the North West University's Botanical Garden Gallery.
Installation of the "Bending Light" exhibition with glass sculptor, Lothar Bottcher, and exhibition curator Elzandre Ayers.
We installed a black room in a corner of the gallery and fitted an LED light box running RGB colours to demontstrate the effects of colour on the same image, i.e. "Life Experience."
This is a photo of the GREEN LED light on "Life Experience" in the black room.

I was born and raised in Vanderbijlpark, a small town in the Gauteng Provence of South Africa, in 1969. It's a heavily industrialised area where the sky is pale, grey, or brown. Not knowing what I wanted to do with my life, a friend suggested I further my education in photography. It was then that I found an outlet to the pressing need for expression, without the misunderstood external gesticulations that limit the souls' expression. The purpose behind my work is to share what I have learned, i.e. with every experience, the good and the bad, life loves, teaches, incubates, protects, nurtures, and sets us free to live and prosper if we so choose. At the age of 48, I left my hometown and moved to Cape Town, South Africa, where I currently reside, and the sky is always blue.
