I believe that art, like good music, good conversation and good wine should be accessible to everyone. I have been painting for over 15 years, as a means of the expression of my thoughts and moods. My principle influences are Rene Magritte, Salvador Dali, Edward Hopper, Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko and Chuck Close. The process of painting non-representative large scale abstract paintings is something I really enjoy. I also like the quiet completive process of painting a surrealist piece, or portrait in oil paint. My work generally is based around my personal understanding of human nature and social situations. I do employ my knowledge of mathematics and background in electronics, music, media and computer programming in some of my multimedia artwork. In particular, I am interested in the process of turning images or video into a musical soundtracks. I exhibit within Singapore.
