Looking Glass - Limited Edition of 1 Photograph

Part of my "In the Quiet" Series Size and format - Edition 1/1 10" x 14" Front Mount Acrylic Print Certificate Of Authenticity: Hand signed live ink signature and edition number. Two matching hologram seals - one to be placed on the back artwork and one on the certificate. In my series, “In the Quiet,” I explore the movement from ostracism and injustice toward empowerment is communicated through a series of self-portraits. We all, as women, have experienced this plight at least once in our lives. Where we felt as though we were drowning and losing our voice…our sanity. We rise because we are strong and often have no choice. We may break under extreme pressure but we rise again and again. Take a moment for the woman who could not rise again. Who, one too many times, was told that her voice was unimportant. Who did not have a tribe to help her out of the ashes. We are all resilient individuals. Together, we are stronger.
