Luminous Body / Galactic Coordinating: Solar Phase: Wings Photograph - Limited Edition of 1

LUMINOUS BODY About the project: Luminous Body was a site-specific project firstly showed in a de-sacralized church in Pula, Croatia, nowadays owned by the Archaeological Museum of Istria, Croatia. This project is predominately built from multimedia material based on photography, collages and light installations in space. The exhibition material was divided in 3 groups: Time, Space and Self Conciseness - in order to present my personal view on “Contemporary Sanctuary”. Installations that are part of a Time group, are mainly constructed as light installations. Pieces like “Cocoon” and “Nighties”” are referring to a process of time that one need to go through in order to become a conscious human being. Like that, the light sculpture “Cocoon” is made of sheep’s wool that I have cut and felt by myself and that is referring to a process of metamorphosis and a constant change. The light installation “Nighties” is based on 12 light installations that were built from my mother nighties. She had worn some of them while pregnant with me, during my childhood and my youth. 12 “Nighties” are representing time flow ( 12 hours, 12 months, 12 planets, 12 astrological signs…etc. ). I was interested in depicting the unconscious time flux with different night dresses, addressing the moment of waking up from a dream state - toward the self realisation. “Shaman’s kit” is a costume kit with shamanic tools that are intuitively made as a kit for self-healing out from a different organic material that was found in nature. The process of making the material was a ritual process of self healing and adorning. The photographs are depicting the group that is addressing the Self Conciseness.
