I'm a commercial architectural photographer living in New Zealand. This image is part of a series of images of buildings in Wellington that were taken after arriving to live here in 2016. After being familiar with a certain architectural vernacular of the UK I was fascinated by the different styles of my new country, namely the weatherboard housing and the widespread deco / modernist buildings (the benefit of living in a earthquake prone area that shakes up the architectural styles from time to time). This shot is the MLC building on Lambton Quay, shot with a polarising filter and then processed with a red filter in photoshop.
