About The Artwork
I have always liked the interplay between magnets and objects made of iron. In this experiment I studied the possibilities of shaping a moving human figure using nothing but a large number of tiny nails on a foam rubber surface and moving some strong magnets under the surface simultaneously with both hands. The developing figure I captured on photos and created a series reminding me of the very first films taken of moving persons.
