Judith Lindenberg is a Southern California gal, born and raised in the Los Angeles area. Growing up in a musical household, her mother was a classical pianist, a composer and lyricist. Her dad, a man of medicine first and foremost but with a love for music, was one of the founders of the Doctors’ Symphonic Orchestra of Los Angeles. He played just about every instrument he picked up but had a passion for the flute and piccolo. So, with this musical home and family environment and a personal love for all things natural, from birds to trees, to stones and leaves, Judith began to forge her career in art at a very early age. She has committed most of her time to her own studio, creating pieces where the musical influence can be clearly seen. On the flip-side, her collages include branches, leaves, fossils and stones; rubbings from pieces of marble and slabs of tree trunks. Her commissioned work is created and sold through her own studio, rarely seeking gallery exposure.
