About The Artwork
I was invited for cocktail hour on a friend's sail boat in Marina del Rey at the California Yacht Club on St. Patrick's Day; Mar 17, 2016. As the sun was setting I grabbed my camera and went on deck and captured this image as a very brief golden hour set in. I appreciate the quietness of the water and the color change from purplish to a soft red/orange. The reflection of yellow light on the window and the reflection of the black masts on the water tend to compliment each other. WHAT MAKES THIS PHOTO GREAT?
