Late at night playing with my old coin collection I wondered what we could do with them. I thought about Damien Hurst's dot paintings and decided to do some art with the coins. The first idea was to paint them and glue them on....looked up/googled and it had been done.....yes we still do it but..... So we arranged them on our orange tiled coffee table and took some photos in the morning. I like them and will do some more. Always have loved old coins. Good fun when you are a kid and you are allowed to play with your Dad's collection of old out of use coins. I still have those old pennies and crowns too.
