About The Artwork

* These prints are limited by the artist with the edition of 100 pieces. This photography, from the third part of my project "Inside", was made in Montserrat Mountains in Catalunya (Spain), very special and magical place. Beauty here is related to the landscape not as an emblem, but by the way of a ritual and a ceremony that only reveal themselves over time. I have been working with concept of spirit as the yearning and the sense of belonging. These photographs are not documents or records of a voyage, but somehow the essence of several experiences. I rather found these pictures, in a glimpse of the gulf between the real and subjective, between the physical and emotional, between the description and imagination. Devoid of figures and animals, the images do not evidence the residue of human contact, aiming instead towards an imaging of transcendence, time within place.
