Morning Glory - Limited Edition of 25 Photograph

DOUBLE EXPOSURE: Flowers in the time of Corona. A further series of limited edition photographs that are a direct response to the global Pandemic caused by the virus, Covid 19. As a portrait photographer specialising in dogs and their humans, my frustration at the 'lock down', subsequent social distancing and also my empathy to others caught up in the very same crisis, led me to transfer my focus and passion to something that I had some form of control over. These abstracted multi coloured and multi layered images, take the viewer on a beguiling visual journey, signifying the glorious and deeply challenging cycles of life. These observations, from a time of quarantine, become a metaphor for modes of isolation, whether they be personally or government endorsed. Symbolising both loss, hope and beauty. I approach these abstract floral portraits in the same way that I approach my canine or human subjects. Delving deeper than what is seen on the surface The prints are Giclee printed in a top U.K based Lab on archival quality, museum grade Hahnemuhle fine art photo rag paper (308 grms) The slightly textured surface produces brilliant colours, deep blacks and perfect reproduction of detail. Your print will arrive with you rolled in a tube sent by courier. Each print comes with a 2cm black border, ready to be put into a frame of your choice. With your artwork there will be a signed & numbered certificate of authenticity. This can be applied to the back of the print when framed.
