“Morning Shadow in Florence”, early morning, black and white photograph of the shadow of a bicyclist crossing Ponte alle Grazie (bridge crossing the Arno river), with Ponte Vecchio in the background. As a Florentine living abroad, I always enjoy going home searching for new angles to portray my city. Never an easy task because Florence has been photographed and painted millions of times. As a Graphic Artist I look to give a more graphic look to my images and replacing my pencil for a camera to create. Most of my work are of a "minimalist" style. The image was part of the collection “Florence, Capital of Italy 1865-1871” shown at the Italian Embassy in Washington D.C. (November 2015) and “Florence, the Heart of the Renaissance” at the Italian Consulate / Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Chicago, USA (May 2016). Photograph is printed by the artist on Archival Fine Art Inkjet Paper, 308 gsm weight, 100% cotton. Matte Fine Art, smooth Rag Paper. Paper size: 19”x13” – Cropped ½ inch on the top and both sides, more space at the bottom leaving space for the signature. Shipping included.
