About The Artwork

ART DESCRIPTION ----------------------------------------------------- In this series I explored the topic of the relationship between man and nature. We are used to separating ourselves from it, but it seems strange to me, because we are inseparable. In this series I tried to visually arouse the empathy for all living things around us. And the second theme of this series is surrealism and realism. It is also used to separate them, but as for me, it is how to separate the external and the internal - one is not possible without the other. All artworks from this series you can see at my collection “EMPATHY"” PRINT DETAILS ----------------------------------------------------- ›› Photograph on Hahnemuhle Paper optimised for FineArt printing ›› Size: 60x40 cm (unframed) ›› Signed and numbered on the front ›› Certificate of Authenticity ›› Packed in a strong tube Limited to an edition of 15 regardless of size. “For me photography is a visual game that allows me to combine two things: create and fix illusions (make real objects unreal and vice versa) and convey love (love for light, color, unusual objects and architecture, for nature and people as the main)". Diana Kondra is an original artist who uses photography as her primary means of expression. She transforms her life and emotional experiences into atmospheric, sometimes romantic, sometimes mystical works with a touch of surrealism. Her style is defined by deep elaboration of composition, delicate work with light and colors. Half of her portfolio is black and white. The artist does this deliberately to keep the idea without destruction to color. She uses color in her photography to highlight additional artistic significance. In 2019, Diana's work was included in the list of the 50 best conceptual photographs according to the 35 awards international photography competition. Hew work was presented both in Moscow and St. Petersburg during solo and group exhibitions. Right now Diana lives in the North Caucuses (Russia). She takes most of her photos here, inspired by nature, unusual objects, architecture and people. From 2020 Diana makes online photo shoots around the world.
