About The Artwork

Mundari Warrior. This photo is a part of a long term photographic and etnographic project „ Dying tribes” relised since 2013. Last trip "At the two banks of the White Nile River" was photographic expedition to South Sudan. I spent few days living with Mundari, look at their lifestyle. Before I made this portrait I drunk with my model a pot of worm milk mixed with blood to prove I'm a real man. Coexsiting together in their enviroment allows me to participate in their rituals then I became more trustable. I feel happy when I could touch spirituality of my models. I have been told that he is one of the best wrestler in his tribe. His face shows strenght and ritual scarifications complete the image of a strong personality. This series contains 10 copies on Hahnemule photo rag 308g with certificate of authenticity, hologram and signature. The size is 100x70cm.
