About The Artwork

Standing guard over a Valley of a Thousand Hills Namibia is one of my favorite destinations, and I fall in love with it's vast open spaces every time I travel there. It's easy to see why people return again and again to these landscapes! The Quiver tree, or Kokerboom, is a tall, branching species of succulent plant, indigenous to Southern Africa -------------------------- Technical details : Fine Art photographic print, professionally produced on 250 g/m² C-type Fuji Archive Matt gallery paper by exposing the specialized, light-sensitive photographic paper to red, green & blue light. The paper is then developed and washed, using traditional photographic techniques to produce an archival print. All limited edition prints have an outside trim. The measurement of the white border is slightly different depending on the print size and this shouldn't show once the print is mounted. Image size listed is the actual size of the printed photo, not the paper size (A2) it's printed on. Limited edition print signed and numbered by the artist.

Even after the trip was over, her camera has hardly ever left her side. Working all over Africa for 6 years, she finally returned to Cape Town and is a permanent resident ... for now
