About The Artwork

- Canvas: Canson Museum Pro Canvas 385 gsm 100% cotton - Printed: HP Z9+ DreamColor mineral pigment - Made in Brazil Wilde evokes in his visit, a year earlier, to Rávena, strangely silent and deserted, half-enchanted of an enchanted city, wrapped in an atmosphere of oblivion. Reposan in the tombs of him Gastón de Foix, Theodoric and Dante; y hierba grows among the marbles on the floor of the palace where Byron, the great man of England, who fell for the independence of Greece, lived. In El Pinar, in the amber light of the dark, it seems to reappear to the ancient divinities of the woods; but the charm is broken by the touches of the convent bell towers. Raven fell from her ancient grandeur, from her ancient splendor; deprived of its age-old dignity, abandoned by the sea, it rests in the lonely sadness and rebirth of the other cities of Italy, freed from foreign domination. The silence of its ruins warns you that you are all human greatness. The poem is slightly academic in its elaborate formal beauty and in the expression of often conventional feelings and thoughts. If you notice the Byronic inspiration; at times we seem to accompany the pilgrim Harold (v.) on his poetic itinerary through the cities of Italy. The early Catholic claims of Wilde, who is now an admirer of the pagan Swinburne, have vanished. The poem is written in yambic endecasílabos with a coupled rhyme. This is the verse of Dryden and Pope, which restrains the impetus of poetic inspiration, and gives descriptions and meditations a somewhat refined linear elegance. TP Pieraccini

Urban Poems I have been spreading poems around the city for years. Yes, I understand my art as poems, the art of photographing, capturing moments and feelings all over the city, not only in São Paulo, but throughout Brazil and even abroad. My art came to save what was lost in me. Creating a breathing space between the chaotic daily life of urban landscapes and dialoguing with the population through artistic creation are some of the main goals of my art. Between images, colors, drawings and interventions, transforming spaces, reinventing objects and providing the possibility of new thoughts to those who walk through my creations. The idea is to bring more life to the emptiness that accompanies the daily lives of many people and enable moments of affection and encounter through the possibilities of recognition and reflection provided by art. Between busy routines and races, urban art, democratic and accessible, dialogues and questions the surreal world in which it operates. I consider myself a privileged man for my creative work. Art has this role of dialoguing with the population and I believe that people like a more colorful life. An artist often paints and gives life to spaces that take on another meaning in everyday life.
