I was 30 the first time I visited Paris. French culture, cuisine and Woody Allen Movies inspired this romanticism in my head of a Paris I had only ever read about or seen in films. Not long after watching Allens 'Midnight in Paris' and longing for some escape, on a whim, I booked the first-morning direct train out of London to Paris. Having slept the entire journey, I arrived in Paris refreshed and ready for a day of exploration. I spent the day walking the streets, taking in the cities grand architecture, climbing the many stairs of the Eiffel Tower, exploring landmarks, the occasional camera/ book shop and eating as many french pastries as humanly possible. This image caught amongst a hazy winter cityscape is part of a triptych, (1/3) taken on Kodak Portra film. Printed on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308gsm Archival Paper using pigment inks. Framed for display in FSC®-certified handmade 14mm Flat Shape, Solid Tulip Flat Black Finish Frame. Tru Vue 2.5mm Museum Glass® Anti-Reflective, 98% UV Filtering Glass.
