Unretouched single shot photo. The subject choice for my photography series of fashion store windows stems from my New York past as graphic designer and art director in product launches and promotion for the cosmetics and fragrance industry that left me with a trained eye for lighting, composition and design. The superbly-styled mannequin, a silent muse breathes life into the scene. Each point of view, each camera angle, each lighting spot, every ray of sunlight on the opposite buildings reflected, each fold of fabric, every carefully chosen accessory, and the whimsical yet meticulous arrangement of elements in this 3D canvas contribute to the allure of my imagery.
