About The Artwork

The image shows woman with fatale attractions. Karto is interested in the phenomenon of fatal women. Her pictorial photo art shows a timeless fascination for these women. Although the discussion is dead seriously, one could not suppress a smile at awkward moments that this kind of women also may cause in certain situations. Karto is fascinated by these women. Beautiful women who manipulate and use special tactics to get favors and to get things done. Interesting is the question, why are people allowing manipulating themselves by this beautiful but dangerous women? And what caused that these women are who they are? In addition to these questions remains that the phenomenon femme fatale, is still a restless temper that keeps us busy. Whether you like it or not. Hanhnemuhle baryta paper - AP of 2

Karto started her journey in the world of photography with a passion for portrait photography. The woman plays an important role in her work. About the album baroque diversity she says: “I photograph women from different ethnic groups and place them in a historically rich environment. I show them in all their beautiful colors, regardless of their rank and status. unthinkable in a period between 1700 and 1900. – (if you look at the overview of my work, one aspect stands out strongly. the influence of cultural diversity in my family, my friends and my life. in this album observations and memories of my childhood and current life play a major role in my work.)” With the album femme nomenal, she portrays women who have been stereotyped over the years as one-sided objects of desire. She gives them energy and emotion in a human, recognizable and sometimes in a humorous way. They are women who have been placed in self-confidence and self-control by a female artist. Being your own boss and not suffering from stereotyping over the years. Women placed in situations that we recognize. Sometimes in a different role that can seem a bit uncomfortable but is experienced with a wink. Since 2011, she has won well-known photo awards, worldwide, and several publications have been written about her work.
