Potter at Wheel 2 Photograph - Limited Edition of 10

This is an ongoing personal project working with the talented salt glaze potter, Steve Harrison. Over the course of over 10 years Steve and I have worked together to push the boundaries of what is expected to visiualize the work of a potter. These images are shot in his studio in London. The concept for these images was to concentrate the viewer gaze at the wheel with a completed tea pot on a spinning wheel. In 'Potter at Wheel 1' Steve is still whilst the spinning teapot is blurred on a long exposure. The light was to mainly focus on his art. His hands were covered with clay as he had just thrown a pot previously. In 'Potter at Wheel 2' the focus remains the same but the camera is moved to get a sense of the potter at work.
