About The Artwork

Driving the flat prairies of Saskatchewan, I came across this cluster of very old barns about two hours south of Regina. The empty land nicely accentuates these beautiful forms. The patterns and textures of the barns' walls contrast the smooth rolling clouds. These fast moving clouds reminded me of passing ships, thus the name Prairie Freighters, but the barns also float like ships on the horizon... you pick. This archivally produced photograph is 25"x14" including a thin white boarder, and is signed and numbered by the artist. It should be framed with a wide white matts for full affect. An artist proof hangs in my own home.
