ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I took this photograph on Avenida Paulista in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Observing the buildings, I noticed that the volumes of what would be the balconies of this building appeared reflected in the glass of the façade, giving a very interesting effect. So I started to study an angle to capture that, with my camera. And that's how I came up with this photograph, which should attract the interest of people who are passionate about architecture.

Martiniano Ferraz is a Brazilian artist who lives in Recife, Pernambuco. It was during holiday trips, while still working as an architect, that he was charmed by photography. Nature, architecture and the urban are the themes he usually photographed. From 2020, while isolated in his home due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Martiniano Ferraz began to produce also geometric and abstract digital arts, where it is common to have vibrant colors and three-dimensional effects. One of its greatest sources of inspiration, in the use of color, is the art produced by the Brazilian artist Beatriz Milhazes.
