Regent's Park Train Tunnel Photograph - Limited Edition of 27

A pedestrian tunnel under a rail line is lit intensely thanks to the 30-second exposure. The eye is focused on the centre of the frame, then the image invites you to explore further at the large variety of textures and tones revealed with the fast film and long-exposure at night; the gentle soft light on the grass and pavement, the red of the train signal light on the trees on the rise, and the dim glow in the sky from the city in the distance. Regent's Park, New South Wales, February 2016 Shot on Fuji 400H 35mm film. The image has been professionally scanned from the original 35mm negative, and printed using archival pigment ink on resin-coated Kodak lustre photographic paper. The black border indicates a full-frame uncropped image. The default print size is on 12”x16” paper, which equates to an actual image size of 25.5cm x 37.5cm. Please contact me if you’d like a different size. The photographic paper size is not indicative of the actual image size on the print as there needs to be white space to allow for framing as well as the edition number & signature.
