Reimagined Virtruvian Trio (3 individual framed prints) Photograph

3 Hand printed acrylic lift prints, mounted on woods with artisanal framing. Davinci's Vitruvian Man is the inspiration behind this trio of print photos. But instead of focusing on the "perfect" figure, I wanted to appreciate our natural curves. The imperfections are really our aliveness and there lies the beauty of life. The prints themselves have no straight lines, but they are teased into waves and curves, like the rise and fall of our breath. I hope the viewers will appreciate the beauty of this reimagining, there is no "man" per se within these three photos but a romantic notion of male and female counterparts. I chose to print in an alternative style, acrylic lift gel prints. Not only do they make beautiful rendering of images but they are much more eco-friendly than other print processes, which is important in saving our environment. Each print is mounted on wood, and framed with a custom made pinwheel wooden frame. I like to think of these prints as rustic refinement. Although they can be viewed and purchased separately, I think as a trio, they show a wonderful progression.
