Ripped Land Photograph

At the entrance of a 'wild' life preserve, a mixture of fields still worked upon and fields now filled up with water, a kind of transitional rest pond for all migratory birds. Being along the big (60miles wide) river, winds from the north side just violently sweep the plowed ground, ripping of the rich loam deposited there through thousand of years and now mindlessly sowed into the winds, fall, winter, spring, seasons bereft of any vegetal cover. No wind tree barriers have ever been set up, in a sense we are all simply wasting what the environment has slowly nurtured; yes, we must think of us as being 'intelligent' in order to protect our persistent environmental blindness, thank God for ???
