"Seeing Double I" - Limited Edition of 3 Photograph

This series is about creating an ensemble that may or may not be a recognizable slice of reality, but I find that reality still pervades the essence of each image. Double exposure photos investigate what is real, what is perceived, and the blur and uncertainty in between. My photos often present the world as other than we perceive it to exist, and as such these photos can lead to a more detailed consideration of what is being seen. The final goal of this series was to create photographs that emphasize their own existence, and what they disclose or cause the viewer to focus on is up to the viewer. Double exposure Photography presents limitless possibilities and limitless meanings created by those possibilities.
