Shimmer II Photograph

My passion is in using photography and the photographic process to see beyond our natural vision, to bring into being a world that we cannot see with our own eyes, yet exists right there in front of us. My photographs explore what things look like photographed. I am drawn to the light, colour, pattern and texture that cities are made of as well as the simplicity and beauty of natural form. I am influenced by, and draw inspiration from, those that have gone before. The image makers of the past who also saw the world anew through the lens of their camera.
