Documentary and landscape photographer exploring rural and small-town life, traveling the backroads of North America. Zsolt's first book, Country Matters, was short listed the best Canadian book of photography in 1999. Subsequent works included Reluctant Subject: Canadian Portraits (2015) and soon to be released Backroads (2021).Tom Zsolt has been featured on CBC, and his work has appeared on the covers of novels and in magazines. His photography is collected by private individuals, corporations and institutions including Ryerson University, Georgina Centre for Art & Culture and Borealis Capital. The largest collection of his photography is housed and preserved at the Georgina Centre for Art & Culture in Sutton, Ontario.
