Storm of Souls - Limited Edition 2 of 2 Photograph

On a chilly October day I took a long drive from my home in New Jersey to the town of Sagaponack on Long Island, NY. I arrived few minutes past five o'clock in the morning at a small stone house adapted into a zendo, located in the front of a large property. There I attended a zazen and my life changed in the instant I got behind the wheel of my car before heading back home. The drive began with strong winds and rain which later turned into a vicious blizzard. The ride that should have taken four hours probably took more than eight. I stopped in one place to marvel at the waves that the storm was causing in a narrow body of water. Everything looked surreal and I could feel life in every droplet of water that flew into my face. I wanted to somehow capture the waves forever, but I only got this photograph on an archaic photo camera.
