Alan, is a passionate photographer and artist who currently lives and works in Guatemala. A successful career which started after graduating from The Art Institute of Colorado in 1997. Coming back to his hometown Guatemala, he dedicated solely to commercial photography for more than 15 years. He later ventured into artistic photography and started creating exceptional fine art concepts. One of his first big projects ‘Doors of the Worlds’ was born in 2014, an original fine art photography collection of doors with a 3D realistic effect. Another of Alan’s projects is ‘Sky Painting’ a technique created combining photography and digital effects to create unbelievable hand painted skies. Alan’s latest project ‘This is not a Door’ is a collection of original and unique collage pieces with captivating abstract concepts. He is the author of 5 photographic books, one national best seller. More than 30 collective exhibitions in Guatemala, United Staes, Spain and Mexico and over 7 solo exhibitions. His fine art photography is in both private and corporate collections worldwide. He has been awarded national and internationally for his work. Alan has been in numerous newspaper and magazine articles for his work and publications.
