Kristina Sereikaite (b. 1980) is a photographer and cinematographer living in Vilnius. In 2005 she became the winner of photography competition organized by French Cultural Center in honour of Robert Doisneau. Her study practice was covered at the National Photography school in Arles (L'école nationale de la photographie (Arles, France 2007). In 2012 she won the main prize for the series “Innocence” of photography competition’s theme “L'homme et l'eau" (“Human and Water”) organized by Photography Festival MAP, Toulouse. In 2015 Kristina Sereikaitė won the 1th prize at the Panevėžys International Photography Biennial "Man and the City 2015" for the series "Concentrations". In 2015 she became a finalist and received Honorable Mention for ICC photographic award centered on the theme "Our Climate" for the work "Terra Humana", (award held by the International Chamber of Commerce for Paris Climate Conference - COP21). The artist has organized over 20 personal photography exhibitions held in Lithuania (Antanas Mončys house museum, KKKC Parodų rūmai Gallery, Meno Parkas Gallery, Ceramics museum (M. K. ČIURLIONIS NATIONAL MUSEUM OF ART), Lithuanian Photography gallery, VDU Gallery „101”, Panevėžys Photography Gallery, Sofa gallery etc.), in Finland (Laatikkomo Gallery, Jyväskylä, 2015), in Denmark (Krebsen Gallery Copenhagen, 2012), in France (Galerie du Colombier, Paris, 2011). Since 2005 she has participated in collective projects in Lithuania (2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2007, 2005), in France (2015, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2007, 2005), in United Kingdom (2014), in Canada (2014), in USA (2010), in Mexico (2010).
