This image was made at a very uninspiring location, a service area by the road at midday. Most people think of landscape photography as a way of capturing wild, remote locations, and some times that's true. But is also true that beauty can be found everywhere, even in the most mundane place. In this particular shot, I love how the tetrapods counterbalance the clouds in the sky and create a sense of stability in the frame. The original is printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Satin 310 gsm 100% Cotton white satin-finish paper and manually signed.
