Memories - The Country Park - Cubist Artwork

^ Click on Prints (next to where it says Original) to see the print details ^ The experience of a walk around our local county park in the open air was the inspiration for this picture. The picture tells the story of my walk and what I observed on the way. A wooden cabin with varied aspects holds the centre of the picture with views of the trees and small lake with water plants to the side. A signed path leads to flight of steps and a small stone monument. Trees sway and twist in the breeze. The small lake glistens with shimmering colours and vivid hues. Small plants push skywards and pine cones lie scattered over the ground. My artwork explores the cross-over between photography, collage, digital art and cubist paintings as a way of capturing memories and imagination. The pictures are created using a pen and ink style digitally, based upon my own photographs, and are printed with high-definition inks on stretched canvas.
