ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My favourite place on earth is St. Ives in Cornwall. It's the place I have photographed most in my life. In this series (look out for the others) I also wanted to pay homage to fellow Yorkshire woman, who had a studio in St. Ives, Barbara Hepworth. I made a drawing of lines and digitally manipulated my photographs. It get a warm glow when I think of Cornwall and that is expressed in the colours. Each print is printed on Photographic Quality matte paper with archival quality inks giving a Photo-lab result. All prints are printed edge to edge.
