About The Artwork

This image is from my long-term project ' Banishanta: world of Sinners'. Banishanta is a tiny island near Sunderbans where lives and works 150 girls and women as sex workers in a state-licensed brothel in Bangladesh. Its a very unique place in many ways especially the only route to go to this brothel is the waterway. When during each monsoon it has become inhabitable and surrounded by water from all corners. So the people who live there are waterlogged. It's thrilling to see the place from the air. The people and environment are exciting and the story is amazing and inspiring. Nowadays digital is the ultimate medium to express your art and photography all over the place. It's easy to handle and operate. When it comes to seeing the ultimate product digital medium is very convenient.
