About The Artwork

This piece represents the emotions of a child who could be the subject of the trauma of divorce, depression, ADHD, Autism and a multitude of whirlwinds that can occur through out life. Children are resilient, but sometimes they feel alone and desolate in a huge world where adults sometimes get so consumed with situations that they forget about the things a child is feeling.

I come from a small town in Indiana where life was simple, the people were friendly and the community was full of inspiration. I found my love for art at the same time that I found my love for poetry, in my early teens. When the written words just would not flow, the paint brush did. As I have gotten older, I have found that I also very much enjoy photography. I finished my Fine Arts Associates Degree in Visual Communications in 2007. I have been won several poetry awards throughout the years and I have been producing private pieces of art also for as long as I can remember. I have been truly blessed with many talents, but art is the one that I hold closest to my heart.
