About The Artwork

This image was taken during a tulip festival on Long Island in 2024. A little rain cloud blew over quickly, but the sun was still shining the entire time. I love the contrast of this image - the light from the sun highlighting the flowers as they stand tall and strong against the dark cloud in the background. It reminds me of life. The storms in our life may come and go, they may threaten but not do much else. The tulips at the forefront seem unaffected - standing tall and strong, they are captured by the sun. And we too can move through the storms of life if we stand tall and strong in ourselves, grounded to our roots. This image is printed on non-acid paper, and is signed/dated by the artist.
