The surf, Enoshima - Limited Edition of 5 Photograph

One of the few images I have in my portfolio that has people in it. I was experimenting with really long exposures and timelapse at the beach during a really hot Summer day. Waves were perfect for surfing, so it was pretty crowded, and no matter how long the exposure, you would always get someone in the frame. After taking around 300 frames, I settled on this particular one, as I really love how the surfers appear like almost non-human entities, and the movement of the waves is still slightly visible in the middle of the frame. I think it describes the scene much better than an empty image. The original is printed on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Satin 310 gsm 100% Cotton white satin-finish paper and manually signed at the bottom.
