Herbert Reinecke is undoubtedly a master of his genre: conceptual photography combined with image manipulation. He describes himself as an "image maker" who likes to experiment with the contradictions between reality and virtual reality. about me: I was born in Germany and now live in Nuremberg. With a natural talent for painting and drawing, I started drawing small works of art with pencils at school at a young age. Later I experimented with oil, acrylic, pastel and spray paint. An important milestone that significantly shaped my way of working was digital image processing and 3D design. However, I believe that my experiences in fine art painting always have an unconscious influence on the design of my paintings. the inspiration Of course, my artistic perspective has been influenced in the cultural and political context over the years and has been shaped by the zeitgeist. Regardless, my ideas have changed over the years. In the past, political or social issues were in the foreground. today I'm more of a dreamer than an observer, mainly inspired by us humans and by our everyday behavior. the style The common denominator of all my pictures is the expressive and figurative form of representation. the way of working I don't use a predefined workflow. I usually sketch my idea for a picture with a pencil on a piece of paper. Individual image elements are then processed as 2D composing or in 3D scenery. Depending on the tool or medium, the workflow can be very time-consuming. Often it is a detailed fine work - like an oil painting. It is important to me to design the dimensions of my work in such a way that a high-resolution print format is possible at the end. the vision quite banal, i want to encourage the viewer of my pictures to think..
