Alberto Lardizzone lives and works in Catania where he was born in 1969 and began taking photographs in his late adolescence, exploring and acquiring the canonical rules of photographic language. Between the years 2000 and 2003, with the achievement of the full maturity of digital technologies, he fully embarked on a photographic/creative path that led him to resume the exploration and reworking of the classic styles of photography, including those of urban or naturalistic landscape photography, still-life, architecture, portrait, reportage and above all purely conceptual and creative photography. The use of digital techniques, also applied to analog photography, is the key tool for completing the photographic images with the atmospheres imagined and felt during the design phase of the works and which can only be transferred through a direct and precise intervention on the part by the author himself. He constantly carries out a search for the achievement of a personal artistic language through the analysis of the works of great contemporary authors, as well as through the observation of the social processes that influence contemporary society and in particular the urban and architectural substrate. These reflections have materialized in some of the projects carried out in recent years including Autocaos (2008) and No Sky In My Mind (2010). In recent years he has carried out a series of reflections on photography in the digital age and social media that lead to an approach to digital image techniques supported by artificial intelligence.
