About The Artwork
Mouth McDowell is located in Mesa Arizona on the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Reservation. It was named after General Irvin McDowell, a union officer in the Civil War. The elevation is 2832 feet. It’s more commonly referred to by residents in the area as, Red Mountain or Fire Rock The sandstone conglomerate of the mountain gives it a red glow during sunset hours. Because of the mountains location on the Indian reservation it is off-limits to hikers and climbers. This photo is mounted on double weight mat board and is shipped in a flat box, signed, numbered and packaged with care from the photographer.
