Urban tree II Photograph - Limited Edition of 9

This photograph is part of my ongoing project photographing trees in local parks near to where I live in London, United Kingdom. I am particularly attracted to the shapes of branches in winter either at night, or dusk, as they seem more magical at these times. Many of the trees are 200 or 300 years old, and pre-date the parks themselves. Often branches or leaves are moving in the wind, so appear blurred in the photograph, and I find a certain poignancy in this: it seems to bring the tree alive. The tree in this photograph is a pine tree from Hampstead Heath, illuminated by me under artificial light. My photographs are not altered in any way other than cropping. This photograph will be printed as a Giclée print on archival quality Hahnemühle German Etching paper with a matt finish. It will be securely shipped inside a shipping tube. Each print will be hand signed and numbered in pencil on the reverse. A certificate of authenticity will also be included.
