Valentine's Day is the second piece of the Love in Three Acts series. This ironic work of art plays with a belief in the Brazilian culture that single women will find a partner if they place an image of Saint Anthony upside down in a glass of water on Valentine's Day (celebrated in Brazil on June 12th). Different techniques were used to achieve the final result, including interference with paint and other materials. This piece is a triptych printed as high quality giglée print and ships mounted on foam boards with a 3 cm white passe partout--all materials are archive quality. Each image is 30cm H x 30cm W. Each triptych is hand signed, numbered and ships with a certificate of authenticity. (Sold as a triptych only, the prints are not sold separately.)
