About The Artwork
Acclaimed contemporary photographers, Richard Heeps and Natasha Heidler have collaborated to make this beautifully mesmerising collection. A celebration of the vinyl record and analogue technology, which reflects the artists practice within photography. In this unique darkroom process the artists have created a photographic negative so the text in the image is in reverse. The artwork is a limited edition of 50 gloss photographic print, dry-mounted to aluminium and presented in a 1" museum board window mount and a choice of black or white box frame. It is signed and numbered on the reverse accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. This is also available to order in larger sizes and can be made in bespoke sizes, just get in touch!

Although I was brought up in East Anglia, I was heavily influenced by America, I visited American bases, I kept magazine cuttings and I followed drag racing. The speed, lifestyle and technicolour is reflected in my imagery. Colour is a major aspect to my work, it drives my equipment and material choices. I have made many bodies of work, while there are distinctions between them they are all linked somehow. I have exhibited widely, in the early part of my career following an exhibition at the Photographers Gallery in 1989, many of my exhibitions toured Museums and Galleries around England. From 2007 presentation of my work has mostly been at Art Fairs in the UK and worldwide where it has been brought by many international collectors. My piece 'Thrills' was part of the 2018 250th Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
