However, there is a distinctive feature that the attentive observer will not overlook: the presence of fern trees which give a prehistoric look to Australian subtropical forests. The facade belongs to the Prado Museum, the most important art gallery in Spain. The beauty of these forests, with their abundance of species and fauna, causes a fascination for them that grows inside like the moss that covers the rocks of this stream. One would sometimes like to open a window, jump in and get lost in the leafy foliage of these wonderful places. [Note: I show the detail of the grass sprouting up on the sidewalk so that the sharpness in the depth of field of the image can be appreciated, from the very first close-up to the end (achieved using 4 photographs with different focus point, by means of a technique called focus stacking)] Significance of the artwork: This artwork shows how connected we are with nature, how it boosts our well-being. About the media: About the brand of the paper, I use Canson because they provide outstanding quality paper. They have been in the market producing paper for artists for over 400 years. About the particular model of paper, I have selected Canson Infinity Platine Fibre Rag cotton (Palace Edition) and Baryta Photographique 100% alpha cellulose (rest of editions), two Fine Art satin papers. These models of papers provide a photorealistic look, which turns imagination into a real situation, confusing the viewer. On the other hand, I have also printed this artwork using Canson Infinity Edition Etching Rag (matte Fine Art paper, 100% cotton) and the result, less realistic and more pictorial, is also very pleasing, and recommended if you are planning to place your artwork facing a window (Edition Etching will remove any reflection). After returning to his place of origin, he will observe it in a different way, as his references will have changed. This artistic series shows the spontaneous visions of a past period in my life, my stay in Australia for 5 years, mixed with scenes of my current daily life. In most cases these visions include two elements: the Australian natural heritage with the (European) cultural heritage. Nature reminds us of where we are coming from. Culture, how far we can go. With this series I have wanted to experience how both worlds could interact if they were merged. An impossible desire to satisfy, but at least visually possible now
