The lone, mysterious figure creeping through the dusty mist is perhaps the last man or woman on Earth, a ghost of the Anthropocene. Turner's palette inspires my work – here, I depict the gloaming with its crepuscular light. It's a liminal space, part landscape, part seascape, intentionally unsettling.
