- scale and faithful privat room in Berlin, from the series FROM BELOW - pigmented Ink-Jet-Print on Ilford glossy photo paper & Alu-Dibond - With back right frame to the suspension. This also serves as distance holder a 2-cm-deep gap is thereby behind the picture. fter long-standing artistic settlement with the subject Realisation by perception in the areas of Perspective, space clarity and chaos, Michael H. Rohde began in 2010 with the working subject FROM BELOW. He developed this subject from the conditions of his five-month homelessness on the edge of Berlin. During this time he dealt, in search of sleeping possibilities, with the subject in TOP VIEW which rooms from the point from above show. This are the rooms in desolate houses in those he during his homelessness lived. The perspective from above, because he was under the pressure of the labour office and felt. From above the view is the view of control and power. When he had been able to rent a flat in Berlin again, he looked for a contrary perspective, as from control and power. Thus he came on the view from below. Since 2014 Michael H. Rohde works on the untersubject „Investigation of historically significant rooms“ as for example Albert Einstein house, Friedrich Nietzsche house, Sigmund Freud house... from the perspective from below show. Michael H. Rohde sees himself as a painter, not as a photographer. His works fascinate by her composition of a picture, chromaticity, richness of detail and size leant to the old Dutch painting, show, however, them at the same time a severity, reduction and clarity of the minimalism. Most works are composed with an extreme Farbigkeit like in the pop art. Concerning the contents how compositional are the tracks of the discussion with painters Caspar-David Friedrich, Jan Vermeer, as well as contain Giorgio de Chirico.
