Born in the 1970's in the wilds of Western Canada, Tamea was raised by a kindly pack of timber-wolves until her early teens. She then ran off and joined a traveling minstrel show, where she performed as a fire-breathing operatic tight-rope act. That is, until a near tragic accident (involving seven tigers and a flaming tuba) forced her to re-examine her destiny.After several years of wandering the Sahara desert as a prophetic nomad, Tamea discovered a dust-covered polaroid camera abandoned at an oasis. A passionate love of photography ensued and Tamea has been happily compelled to take pictures ever since.Tamea Burd is based in Vancouver, BC, Canada. She has been photographing professionally for 9 years. She specializes in portraiture and wedding photography. Inspirations are clean lines, beautiful light, strong colours and evocative moments.
