About The Artwork
Lino-cuts take a long time to produce, but printing them is beyond satisfaction. Removing the paper from the cut is simply breath-taking. This illustration was inspired by a story from the cakeordeathsite with the title: A Promise of Paradise. The depicted scene is part of a dream Sarah has. It is about how an acquaintance of her is being pecked by a white dove. Size: 210 × 297 mm (DinA4); acid-free paper. Paper grammage: 170 g/m². This drawing was created using black Schmincke Lino-Colour.
